Customisable yet almost completed, these characters are a cross between Debbie & Sara style characters. These characters have a few unspent skills, a handful of money for last-minute shopping, and the option of trading out Backgrounds & Traits.

The chief downside of Kaylee-style characters is that the final number-crunching cannot be done for you ahead of time, as it has been done with Debbie-style characters. They are somewhat customisable, so that you can ditch the Trait that you absolutely cannot play with or take a skill that you feel is a must-have, but these characters are not nearly as customisable as Sara or standard generated characters.

The inspiration for this type of characters comes from Thomas D. on Uncle Bear's Dire Cafe, in a discussion on how to run games at conventions. All credit for this concept is his, we're just borrowing it.
